摘要

New concept K index of competitiveness of metallurgic companies carbon footprint is consid ered. The values of this index for different combinations of metallurgical production, ending smelting steel, are evaluated. Application of an index of competitiveness can promote justification of a choice of the best technology of receiving steel in the conditions of the WTO. Within the state ecological regulation it is expedient to develop theeconomic mechanism stimulating introduction of the most competitive technologies.
