摘要

The article is devoted to the interesting and little studied topic in the Russian historiography - anti-bullying and struggle with criminality in the middle Urals in the post-war years. The study was conducted on the material of several archives: the archive of Alexander Yakovlev, the State archive of Sverdlovsk region, the archive of Department of the Federal statistics service of in Sverdlovsk region, and the Centre of documentation of public organizations of Sverdlovsk region. Scientific novelty of the work is seen in the fact that the new material discovered by the author in these archives is introduced in scientific usage. It is declared that crime as a social phenomenon was present in Soviet society throughout its history and the Great Patriotic war contributed substantially to its growth. Digital and factual materials are provided, characterizing the level of crime in the middle Urals in the post-war years. An idea is given about the methods and forms of struggle of law enforcement bodies with bullying and crimes against person across the former Soviet Union and in the Sverdlovsk region in the late 1940-ies - early 1950-ies. It is argued that its growth during this period was inevitable and caused by concrete reasons, the main of which was the low standard of living and consumer culture of the majority of citizens.
