The first of the two planned articles analyzes the texts of the blog posts by Boris Akunin - a today’s writer, who is well-known thanks to various forms of his interaction with readers. One of such forms is his blog Love of History (2010-2017), which «died» (according to the author’s words) after 6,5 years of its existence. The philological interest from the point of the theory of linguistic identity is evoked by the texts created by homo soveticus, who was deformed in homo postsoveticus and homo antisoveticus because of post-Soviet changes. One of the brightest lexical markers of such transformation is the word revolution with its derivatives. As far as the 100th anniversary of the 1917 revolution in Russia is coming closer, a peculiar attention is paid to those cases which particularly denote the October revolution, and to the rhythm of their mentionings in proportion with the mentionings of other revolutions. Besides, the article sets the main models of understanding revolution, which demonstrate the author’s neutral or negative attitude to it.
