摘要

The suggested concept of teaching Soviet History and History of Soviet Literature in particular, is based on the idea that notwithstanding its determination, the nature Soviet consciousness had not been atheistic. Thus, the ideology of socialist society was not that of atheism, but instead the legacy of the pre-existing religious systems. This was evident in the Soviet culture as a whole, and in such meaningful poetic phenomenon as a Soviet song, in particular. This approach allows using the “carnival theory” by M.M. Bakhtin, which was created with the aim to analyze the cultures which are based on the religious principles. According to M.M. Bakhtin 's theory, such periods of history as the twenties of the last century, are accompanied by the "carnivalization of consciousness " when the pre-existing hierarchy of values is destroyed and exposed to the carnivalesque mockery, whereas the ideological "up" and "down" lose their stability and sometimes swap over. The research shows that in 1920s the Soviet song was formed as a "carnival" genre. This means that its poetics is based on the synthesis of elements that within the framework of generally accepted aesthetics seemed incongruous before, for example: march or hymn with romance, street song or couplet - at the musical-poetic level; and meaning associated with personal feelings, and "ideological" connotation - at the semantic level. So the "carnival" poetics of Soviet songs with all its cultural connotations was formed.
