FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of polymer-inorganic sorbents. Method is proposed that includes the saturation of the cation-exchange sorbent with iron (III) ions and the subsequent treatment of the sorbent in a solution of sodium chloride at an elevated temperature with the formation of nanosized crystals of iron oxyhydrate β-modification (akaganeite).
EFFECT: obtaining a sorbent effective for removing F- and Cl- from solutions of complex salt composition.
