摘要

The high-strength economically alloyed steel with high hardenability was investigated. The mechanical properties after continuous cooling with different cooling rates (0,02 ... 20 °C) were determined. An industrial heat treatment of large-sized parts made of the studied steel was implemented using air as a quenching medium. The possibility of the successful implementation of isothermal air quenching was shown, including preliminary carburization, aimed at increasing the wear resistance of the surface of the part.
