摘要

Using the countercurrent rotary vortex type thermal generating unit authors of the paper demonstrated the feasibility of producing a high-quality gypsum binder (grade A quick-hardening gypsum), including the recycling of gas-cleaning equipment gypsum-containing waste, with obtaining a marketable product and reduction in the accumulation of solid waste. By changing the maximum firing temperature and curing time, authors gained control over both the gypsum binding properties and strength. These properties are inversely related: as the firing temperature increases, the binder properties improve, while the strength of the cured mortar decreases. Increase in the high-temperature curing time, on the contrary, worsens the binding and increases the strength properties of gypsum.
