The development of effective ceramic lining materials is an important problem for the industry. Concretes with an alumophosphate binder can be considered as new materials for use in hydrocyclones. The present work is devoted to the study of the binder content, its modification and the calcination temperature on the properties of the final products. Special attention is paid to the study of the basic properties for the use of ceramic materials as a lining: porosity, water adsorption, density. As a result of the work done, several composite materials with enhanced properties were obtained due to the reinforcement with coarse-grained silicon carbide.
