摘要

The article presents higher vibration modes accounting method to evaluate single-span multistory steel frames seismic resistance by nonlinear static method. Additionally characteristic point search was improved. As part of the study, in order to verify the proposed method series of nonlinear time history analysis was performed. Multimodal pushover analysis can significantly reduce calculation time excluding the earthquake resistance lack.
