The article is devoted to identifying the image of Russia in the authoritative printed editions of Great Britain. The paper examines the principles of efficient cooperation between two countries at the political and economic levels, analyzes different ways to form the image of a country. The authors conclude that the image of the state is a complicated integrated phenomenon, which depends on the worldview developed in public conscience and is determined by culture and stereotype thinking. It’s important to consider this fact when organizing an intercultural dialogue.
