摘要

The study of higher education transformation into digital universities is associated with high relevance against the background of unpredictable external influences. The components of the electronic digital environment of a university, the conditions for the formation of the innovative infrastructure of a modern university, the range of possible consequences of the rapid implementation of digital education in higher education, and ways of financing the digital development strategy are considered on the example of the activities of the Ural University. The necessary transformation factors are as follows: additional value for students of the Homo informaticus contingent, the competition of educational competencies of a particular university, the digitalization of university management processes. The consequence of the digitalization strategy of the university is the increase in the competitiveness and image characteristics of the educational institution as a condition of market attractiveness at the international level.
